first time install problem

i encountered the following problem installing openbsd.
when finishing up the installation i got the following message:

Making all device nodes...Segmentation Fault (core dumped)

i missed it the first time but when i boot i obviously get stuck with
the message that there is no /dev/console

is there anyone who can point me in the right direction or who can
tell me where i can find an installlog or something to figure out what
went wrong?
