Terminal character set

Hi,

I have OpenBSD without X (so running an xterm, which would solve my
problem is not possible). I have $TERM set to wsvt25, which gives me
colour. However, what I want is to use another character set (say
Latin-4) instead of the default one.

The reason I want to do this is that when I send Email, I want to
use a character set which includes macrons over the vowels. This
is easy enough when using an xterm, you simply choose an appropriate
font. Is it possible using the plain terminal, or will I have to
install X?

Thanks,

Tim.
