Re: 3.9 Links package broken?

As of a few minutes ago links becomes catatonic when I position
the cursor on a text input field. The program at that point responds
only to an <esc>, at which point the file menu comes up and I can
select exit, which works. The catatonic behavior happens repeatably
at the webmail page at mindspring.com when I attempt to login to send
email. It is perhaps interesting to note that when I use lynx to access
the page, I get two warnings that the ssl certificates are invalid.
Links does not report that problem.
I cannot use lynx to send email since lynx does not support javascript
and that capability is required at the mindspring webmail page.

Can anyone reproduce this behavior with links?

Thanks,
Dave Feustel

I discovered by accident last night that links is not actually
catatonic; but it only recognises upper case. No lower case characters
are accepted as input to text fields in html forms, at least for the html
form I use the most.
