Don't know. Since Ken Thompson, Bob Pike and others from Bell Labs are now
working on Plan 9, shall we all abandon (sp?) UNIX and embrace Plan 9
instead?

Maybe the person "who was once one of the major driving forces behind both
BSD Unix and csh" got bored by it? :-)
