Dear all,
I want to auto-logon on to 50+ machines and do some dumb stuff; our local
machines use SSH for remote connection. I know I can setup ssh to setup
password free authentication...
I know that I need to copy-paste something and put a file which is a public
key onto some directory of that host, then next time it will know me and
will not ask for password...
But consider doing that firsttime-authentication-setup is really
troublesome, I need to do that stuff 50+ times... and also I am not very
clear about how to do that exactly, even after reading many tutorials on
line many times...since I am not very professonal to unix...
So my question is: is there any easy way to do that ssh password free
firsttime authentication setup?
I have here SSH Secure Shell software, everytime I logon onto a new site, it
will ask me if "something needs to be saved and kept"... I am not sure about
this, but I guess if I click "yes", then even I don't use that software, and
just use plain command "ssh remotesite.xxx.xxx.xxx" will need no password;
So will SSH Secure Shell software do that firsttime setup for me if I press
"save and keep" stuff?
Second, I currently have some sites did not use that option, and that screen
does not appear again when I logon to that very same site, how can I
reactivate that screen ask for "save and keep" in SSH Secure Shell Software?
Thanks a lot,
-Walalal
