I am doing a report on Unix... my teacher wants me to write about the
history of Unix, why it is used today, what machines it works well on, what
machines it does not work well on, what type of applications is Unix good
for, inotherwords my report has to be on why we use Unix today and how it
differs from all the other operating systems out there... what makes this
report difficult is that when I go to the library all I find are books on
Unix commands.... which is not really what this report has to be on....
could someone please recommend a good book which would answer these
questions.... my teacher is expecting 12 to 15 pages on this.... so lets
get going on this please :-) thanks for any book suggestions you may
have....
