    Hi

    I am running Solaris 2.6 and am trying to do a couple of things

    1. I am trying to set the screensaver to lock out after inactivity for
    all users, by changing the following in
    the/usr/dt/config/C/sys.resources

    Dtsession*saverTimeout: 10
    Dtsession*lockTimeout: 15
    Dtsession*cycleTimeout: 3

    And copy this file to etc/dt/config/C, this should make the change
    global? After logging out and in, this did not work…

    2. I am trying to log all failed logins by changing /etc/default/login
    SLEEPTIME=2
    RETRIES=3
    SYSLOG_FAILED_LOGINS=0

    These changes are not taking affect either

    Also, can anyone tell me how to disable the floppy & CD-ROM drives?

    Thanks for any help in advance,
    shellz
