Yes. Meant to enclose the whole thing in double quotes.
mailx -V shows my version as:

Well, when I hit r to reply, I then hit ~m to include the original letter
in the reply, the ~e to bring it up in my $EDITOR.
The sig doesn't appear regardless. I CAN include an empty file with a
sig at the bottom, which work. Simple enough with files s1 s2 s3 :-)
