    Thank you!

I love webpath's goal as stated on their site: "Our goal is to make
anyone running a Linux/Unix computer system to feel just as much at
home as someone using Microsoft Windows. We also believe if people
are going to feel secure enough to wander from Windows and try *nix
they need a little stability and we hope to be part of it."

That got me and went to http://webpath.us and signed up. I've
successfully dialed in on Linux and on FreeBSD! It's also $6.00 a
month cheaper than my old Frontier dialup service :)

I printed out and followed the instructions for XISP setup because I
liked the idea of being able to connect using both my linux and
FreeBSD installs with the same piece of software.

The instructions were quite good and I was able to get online with
    Linux in a few minutes.

FreeBSD has an old pppd version so it wouldn't use server assigned
DNS. I just used the public DNS servers they had listed and it does
fine. An interesting note, I couldn't get it to resolve DNS by
inputting manually in XISP, but webpath had recommended to put them in
resolve.conf and that did the trick.

    Thanks again!
