Hello,
I am a junior SA. We have a Solaris 8 Sun F6800 server, currently
running Oracle DB and Veritas file system & volume manager I've been
asked to provide notification to my management (via email, SMS to
mobile) during any of the following occurences at the server on a
regular basis :
- Hardware malfunction alerts
- Disk (root, mirror, SAN) utilization alerts and statistics
- CPU/Memory utilization statistics
- Server Unavailability & appliation/services inactive alerts
Are there any scripts or free tools out there that will do the trick??
. I need something simple, easy to configure and doesn't hog up
resources.
Thanks for your help
Humphrey
