The final resolution to this problem ended up being a vector conflict
with the newly installed netradi adapter and the exsisting tape drive
adapter. Via the BIOS we changed the vector for the netraid to vector
10. Though the intergrated adapter is sharing this vector, all is
well, system reboots and file transfer is fast and smooth.
