I have cdrecord Version 1.1 running on SCO 5.0.5 without problem. I
don't know
where it is from. The system has Skunkware 98 and Skunkware 2000.1
installed (some
files from each). CDrecord on this system is from a VOL.000.000 file
with the
following information:
VOL.000.000.sum Size 10
VOL.000.000 Size 784384
VOL.000.000.filesSize 2133
sum -r on VOL.000.000 reports 61566 1532
VOL.000.000.Files shows:
opt/Distribution/SCO/SKUNK2000/1.10/SSO_1_LABEL/000
On a client's 5.0.5 system I tried to install cdrecord from Skunkware
2000.1
(cdrtools version 1.8a23) but it does not work.
Executing cdrecord -scanbus on the client's system with cd cdrtools
1.8a23
reports "driver not found"
I removed Skunkware 2000.1 cdrtools 1.8a23 and installed from the VOL
files
cdrtools 1.10 and cdrecord -scanbus reports without error.
What is the problem with 1.8a23?
