    thanks for the pointer !

    I did not know a new firmware was available and I, for sure, will tell
    my customer about that.

    As for the direct support from Adaptec, they said a new driver
    especially designed for the 2110S/OpenServer5 combo in in the pipeline
    but they failed to provide a release date and, as usual, the customer
    can't wait :-)

    I'll post my findings here as soon as possible.
