Here's my OS X desktop as it was about a year ago before doing a
presentation at the local Mac users group. Basically it's the
same as I use on Linux where I'm running the xfce window manager
under X, plus have all the OS X applications available as well.
I'm spending over half my time now working on the OS X desktop,
the rest on Linux (mainly when I want to cut-n-paste from mutt in
an xterm to the opera browser also under X).

While the vast majority of my own work is command line in xterms,
OS X is great for many of our customers who want a nice desktop,
and are a bit afraid of making the jump to Linux or FreeBSD.
