I'm planning on building a new server based on a Tyan 1854 MB with a
PIII, SCSI Tape (Tandberg 1830), and SCSI HD and CD. Running SCO 5.0.4
because of a required legacy business application that is currently
    running on 5.0.4

I have not seen any direct references on the SCO Harware Compatibility
pages. I'm not sure if that worries me as they have 5 year old Dells
    still pending for certification.

I see Tyan and SCO mentioned a few places via googling. And Tyan says
    it runs SCO.

I loaded 5.0.4 on a white box PII 166 and it ran fine.

So what about an opinion? Should I worry about running an antique OS on
    a TYAN PIII?
