Yes, you will need a new version of the OSR5 floppy boot sector. It's
attached below. The floppy boot sector is supposed to have certain
signature bytes, and OSR5's hasn't had them since early in the Xenix
days. Most BIOSes do not enforce the requirement. Recent Intel-branded
i865 and i875 motherboards seem to enforce it.

To use this, copy this message onto the machine where you're making the
boot floppy. Run:

  uudecode message.txt

(or whatever you called it). You will now have a file named
fd135ds18boot0.Z. Run:

  uncompress fd135ds18boot0.Z
  cp fd135ds18boot0 /etc

Now you can create a new boot floppy and it should be bootable on this
system.

You can also patch the existing boot floppy by running:

  cat /etc/fd135ds18boot0 > /dev/fd0135ds18

(after decoding and copying the file to /etc).
