Sorry I wrote this while looking at the wrong line from hwconfig.
hw doesn't see the card.

Why wouldn't the driver recognize the card? The driver is the
same as on the old pc. The card works in the old pc. I was able
to use a pci sound card in each of the pci slots so I know they
are good. BTW, I have removed the sound card to avoid conflicts
and all of my testing is reflective of the system without the pci
sound card.
