Wayne Sanders typed (on Wed, Mar 24, 2004 at 05:28:27PM -0800):
| I can solve my connectivity problem by entering a route manually. If
| I enter:
| # route add 10.0.0.0 10.0.2.16
| I get back
| # add -net 10.0.0.0 gateway 10.0.2.16
|
| then an entry is made in the routing table and I can communicate
| between my server and host.
|
| The entry disappears upon reboot, which is my problem. Where or how
| to I make an entry that will be permanent to the routing table? I put
| an entry in /etc/default/tcp for GATEWAY, but the destination shows as
| default and this does not work.
You didn't say what release of OSR you're running. 5.0.6's /etc/tcp
started interpreting a GATEWAY= line in /etc/default/tcp and did something
with it. Earlier releases didn't. 5.0.5 haa an /etc/rc2.d script
that reads /usr/internet/etc/sco_ip/routes.
So which release do you have?
