If you are well prepared, the hardware is standard and the migration is
limited in scope then it could take no more than a couple of hours.

By well-prepared I mean that you know the hardware spec in detail and
have researched support by SCO and the hardware vendor. This covers
things like makes and precise model of disk-controllers, video adapters
etc. Over the years I have built up a long checklist that I use to
prepare for an installation. Preparation takes time. People who do
installs every week need less preparation since they've already
encountered the common glitches and have already found out what to do
about them. I dont do installs that often, so, every time I do an
install, I keep detailed notes and use this subsequently to update my
checklist.

By standard hardware I mean something well-known and widely used
globally such as a HP Proliant (just an example) with standard HP parts.

If you have to migrate custom applications, numerous undocumented cron
files, system configuration files etc then it can take much longer.
There are scripts that can help with this.

YMMV
