Which is why, back in the early 90s, I went with a 3.2r4.2 install.
"Use this hardware, and it _will_ work." Which is did, up until I
retired the system. Not to malign Linux, but at the time, it was
more in the "bug of the week" mode.
At the time, I also remember a lot of comments on this news group
about "How come you don't support...." (The latest piece of hardware)
And back then, I figured it was because SCO has a finite number of
engineers, and when something gets "certified" it means it _has_ to
work. Not sort of work, or with some magic mix of hardware.
