Andrea,
supposing you did not change everything since you last booted the box,
what if you type "unix.old" at the "boot:" prompt ?
Are you able to get to the sulogin prompt ?
What about the controller/HD of your box ? If it's a plain eide/atapi
disk, then you can install SCO OS 5.0.5 on another eide/atapi box,
create the emergency floppies (mkdev fd) and use the just created
floppies to recover your system.
