SCO vs. DaimlerChrysler trial scheduled for January 11, 2005

Over the weekend, the Oakland County (Michigan) computer assigned a
trial date of January 11, 2005 to the SCO vs. DaimlerChrysler case.
Don't book your plane reservations just yet, though: there's still the
matter of Daimler's motion for the court to rule summarily in
Daimler's favor now. A hearing on that is scheduled for June 9.
Below is the docket listing the court provided to me. It appears to
be a printout from some kind of 3270 terminal application. Whatever
method they use to print unfortunately crops off the last column.
You can see the May 4 order (which set the June 9 hearing date) at
sco.petrofsky.org. I am told that for the May 22 "SCHEDULING ORDER
WRITTEN" entry, no corresponding written and signed judge's order
actually exists. The "SO" in the leftmost columns indicates that this
instead was some automatic scheduling initiated by the computer.

P.S. This is my first post to comp.unix.sco.misc, and I'll gladly
accept suggestions for a better newsgroup to have used. I think
alt.suit.att-bsdi would be good, but it no longer has much
propagation, and it seems nobody has created
alt.suit.sco-rest-of-the-world yet.
