Thanks JP. Somehow that page
http://localhost:8457/en/HANDBOOK/netcardsN.netcards_list_mfg.html
is not on any of my systems, but you put me onto finding the complete list,
which I now have.
I am puzzled as to where the drivers live. Some cards on the full list do
not to seem to have a driver listed by netconfig, so one assumes one has to
download the driver from somewhere. So you go to the manufacturer's sites
to find no mention of SCO drivers. Googling just points you to the fact
that the card has SCO supported. The drivers are not on ftp.sco.com
In days gone by one would have found the SCO driver on the floppy that came
with the cards, or even cdrom.
The lack of hardware drivers is becoming very critical for SCO, and to me is
now SCO's biggest weakness.
Thank though to Bela who kindly sorted out by wd driver problem. All a need
to is buy a cardbus network card that is guaranteed to work. I have got my
fingers burnt once already!
