| Thanks JP. Somehow that page
| http://localhost:8457/en/HANDBOOK/netcardsN.netcards_list_mfg.html
| is not on any of my systems, but you put me onto finding the complete list,
| which I now have.
Huh? You have a 5.0.7 machine (or even an earlier one) and do NOT have
that file?
| I am puzzled as to where the drivers live. Some cards on the full list do
| not to seem to have a driver listed by netconfig, so one assumes one has to
| download the driver from somewhere. So you go to the manufacturer's sites
| to find no mention of SCO drivers. Googling just points you to the fact
| that the card has SCO supported. The drivers are not on ftp.sco.com
If your NIC is on that list, then netconfig will install the driver for
it. The list is of NICs supported by the OS.
| In days gone by one would have found the SCO driver on the floppy that came
| with the cards, or even cdrom.
| The lack of hardware drivers is becoming very critical for SCO, and to me is
| now SCO's biggest weakness.
| Thank though to Bela who kindly sorted out by wd driver problem. All a need
| to is buy a cardbus network card that is guaranteed to work. I have got my
| fingers burnt once already!
