Jean-Peirre,

Yes this printer is hooked up via ethernet. I can telnet into printer
using port 9000 to make changes to any of the internal settings of the
network adapter in the printer.

The printer has several ways to connect to it... You can connect via
AppleTalk, SNMP and standard TCP. It has an LPD in it. In fact it
appears the internals are running a Unix based OS. (I can tell that by
the telnet prompt given when you log in...)
