I am needing some help. I can not get
the new Dvd-multi drive to read or mount a
regular CD .

I have probably missed some configuration step.

I took out the cd drive and installed a
Panasonic Multidrive

It is recognized in the computers BIOS, and
hwconfig -h shows the same as it was before:
cd-rom type=IDE ctlr=sec cfg=mst dvr=Srom->wd

I then loaded the wdsupp for Sco 5.0.6

I then deleted the cdrom from Microlite Edge 2.1
and used Autodect to find the new Dvd. It worked
and I was able to perform a test backup.

However, I am unable to read a regular CD on
the Multidrive. I was able to read a CD before.
I also cannot mount a CD using
# mount /dev/cd0 /mnt

I get an error which suggests I have missed some
configuration:

NOTICE: Srom: Not ready reading SCSI CD-ROM 0
dev 47/0 (ha=1 bus=0 id=0 lun=0) block=488774
mount: cannot stat '/dev/cd0': No such device or address (error 6)

What steps do I need to take to fix this ?
