I tried Windows Services and found it to be horribly involved, very
confusing, not very useful and finally scrapped the whole idea and went with
a more affordable solution in a product by 'Xlink' called 'OMNI-NFS Lite'.
Very easy to install and they even have an evaluation copy you can use free
for 30 days. For the Windows side all you need is the NFS client software
since your Unix box already has the server side software.

Just install the client, configure the host connection parameters and it's
ready to go. I can't speak highly enough of the software or the vendor. I
have it implemented at three different customer sites, and will continue to
expand as I upgrade my customers.

I also have to say that I must have spent the better part of a month
searching for and evaluating Windows compatible NFS client side software
before settling on this one. So, I know what you are going through. There
is not a lot out there, and what is there seems to be significantly over
priced.

Good luck.
