Like Rob Enderle, Laura DiDio, and Dan Lyons don't "spin" their versions
of all these proceedings in their "business" pages? Get real, Jon--there
is a clear delineation at Groklaw between PJ laying out these references
with her *opinions* (just like those "mainstream" agents), and the rogue
comments from the peanut gallery which follows.

Don't argue the hype. Argue the facts, or forget it.

If you can handle Usenet, SCOX[E] is a cakewalk, relatively speaking. If
you don't like either, don't read them. But don't ignorantly comment for
the rest of us if you're not willing to do your homework in either.

In short, you're sticking your head in the sand on this one.

Fine, but you're missing the point: there is a lot of turmoil at SCOX[E]
lately, like being booted out of Canopy, missing SEC filings, and having
conflict with auditors over those and other material concerns. There are
Blue Meanies at NASDAQ getting snippy about delisting lately, even.

Kimball grows increasingly surly about SCOX[E] missing evidence TWICE on
demand in the IBM suit. Customers like Daimler/Chrysler and AutoZone get
nusiance lawsuits filed out of the blue--and none of it affects the jobs
remaining at SCOX[E] in any way? Whazzup with that lunacy, anyway?

I've WORKED in similar situations and without exception it was NEVER any
Good Thing (tm). And I'm not wishing ill on Bela or anybody stuck in the
quagmire of working for idiots like Darl McBride, so don't go there.

You seem to be doing the ostrich, again, with this workplace scenario.

Well, I certainly hope it will be completed when released. But the devil
is in the details again, Jon. And legal issues are not half of it IMO.

It appears much of that will be GNU/FOSS apps atop a dying *nix fork. It
doesn't exactly inspire confidence in paying big bucks for what comes as
included for less than US$100 in SuSE Pro, now does it?

And let me repeat for the record: best wishes and good luck to Bela, and
anybody else trying to get on with their lives as this debacle winds its
way to its sad conclusion.
