/var/opt/K/SCO/Unix/5.0.4Eb/usr/adm/syslog missing

    I just found that my /var/opt/K/SCO/Unix/5.0.4Eb/usr/adm/syslog
    file has been missing with no reasons. I maybe because of that I have
    some errors in HDD. How do I check if the log daemon is running
    correctly?
