Are these IDE or SCSI drives?
5.0.4 had an 8GB limit for IDE drives,
5.0.5 had a 128GB limit for IDE drives, both according to TA# 118463.
But in order to achieve these limits for 5.0.5, you have to follow
the boot instructions in TA#109855:
