Modern hardware and SCO 5

Hello all,
How well does SCO 5 work with modern hardware? A small company wants to
replace a machine running SCO 5, I'm not that familiar with this operating
system. The machine does not do a lot of work, therefore we're trying to
find the best solution for us. Does it work with well with SATA or IDE hard
drives or cdroms, or should I stick to SCSI on these? Does it tend to work
with onboard LAN controllers? Does it work with onboard video chip sets?
What chip sets work best (the old machine has a via chipset)? Is there
anything else I should watch out for with this?
Any help would be appriciated, Thanks
Greg
