OKI 9/24 pin question

Sorry for the stupid question:
1. I have a RIBBON for OKI 100 Series 320/321 Turbo 9-pin
2. I need to REPLACE a ribbon on an OKI 390-Plus 24-Pin
Is there any problems or issues placing #1 ribbon in #2 printer?
It's the 9 vs 24 pin thats my biggest concern.
