osr 5.0.7 sendmail stopped working

After having custom verify and fix System files - sendmail no longer works -
see below:

# sh P86sendmail start
451 4.0.0 /usr/lib/sendmail.cf: line 90: fileclass: cannot open
'/usr/lib/mail/local-host-names': World writable directory
451 4.0.0 /usr/lib/sendmail.cf: line 108: fileclass: cannot open
'/usr/lib/uucp/ Systems': World writable directory
451 4.0.0 /usr/lib/sendmail.cf: line 133: fileclass: cannot open
'/usr/lib/mail/ domains': World writable directory

I see no issues with permissions on those files - they do not have write
permission under other nor do their parent directories.

What could be causing this problem??
