Good morning,
I cannot type this at work because the @ makes the cursor return
to the beginning of the line, erasing all previous typing.
name@some.isp.com
I seem to be the only one using the unix server for writing,
mailing, scripting, and I am a dummy. Sort of. Learned on the
fly the past 20 years. Know alot but not enough, just enough to
be dangerous. Have no clue to my @ problem, neither does the guy
whose part time job it is to maintain the company MIS.
Using vi.
The @ sign works fine in all the windows apps. The @ sign works
fine in a dos cmd shell. The @ sign works fine in ssh'd into my
isp. It has to be something on the company server.
Maybe another clue is, Had to put this into my .login to make
ctrl-c work. stty intr '^C'
What should I put into my .login to correct this?
Thanks,
Vic
