(O/T) I don't consider SQL to be a programming language, but you'd be
surprised how some people are able to do the most amazing things in it.
I.e., I agree with you about shell not being appropriate for use as
a full-blown programming language, but I hear tell that there now exists
a shell with a tax-preparation module built-in.
