Hi there,
a simple question. I have complicated login name for ex. gh93ldsk that
have no meaning. Is there a possibility to create an alias for thic
login name? I tried "alias gh93ldsk name" but it didn't work.
You need admin privileges to create an alias for a login name on the target server.
But if you are on a second system - a client, you can create a simple
script that will log into a server. If you use a web browser, you can
often remember the name, etc.
How are you typing in your usernname? Is it at a text prompt? Web page?
