Does anyone know if it is possible to search the text in the shell
window?
What I mean is lets say I have a bunch of text inside my shell window
(commands, listings of files, logs from running programs etc.) and
want to search all the text inside the shell window.
I am using tcsh. Or is some other shell supporting this?
BRs!
You can search your command history, but not the output of past commands
unless you use the "script" command to log everything you do.

if you have enabled 'script' in your .cshrc, then it should be
possible for your terminal's output...`man script`
.
