ls sort by directories and files?
Hi All -
When using ls, is there anyway to sort the contents such that all the
directories are ahead of files, which is the default sorting when we
use graphical file manager like Nautilus in Gnome or Explorer in
Windows. It seems 'ls' doesn't distinguish files and directories at
all by default.
Thanks in advance for any hints.
