I would certainly not be the best person for that.
I disagree. You have great insight into how to use the shell well,
and great clarity of expression. You should write a textbook; there
are very few good ones out there. The problems people post here are
an endless source of examples, problems, and inspiration. They could
serve a book author as well. I bet you could find many willing to
help you with such a project, if time is the issue.
