Hi All !
Working with SOLARIS 8, i had openSSL/openSSH installed.
As i'm not really good yet in configuring such Tools, i have some
questions relative to:
- from some stuff i want the client to be certified so that he can log
on with his PassPhrase.
So, i do have to know his public(s) key(s) and put it(them) in
something/authorized_key. Is that right ?
- for other guys i want them to log with the login/password, so i DON'T
use authorized_key facility. Right again ?
BUT how can i do to have each connection prompting for a login/password
like telnet does, in a way to avoid typing smth like
ssh -l user host@domain ? Is that possible ?
When in debug mode, i have error, even with successfull connection, like :
Apr 3 18:14:25 server.domain.com sshd[4494]: [ID 800047 auth.info]
Accepted password for madmax from 150.248.13.79
port 1932 ssh2
Apr 3 18:14:46 server.domain.com sshd[4496]: [ID 833576 auth.debug]
pam_setcred: error Authentication failed
Does it means i would have to modify/customize the /etc/pam.conf ?
Any help really appreciate.
Best regards.
Jean-Luc B :-)
