Annoying Xserver? bug in late S8/S9 systems.

Problem:
Xterm and other applications leave traces on screen.
To Replicate:
Put a xterm partially over another, do a ls or scroll in the covered
Xterm. Watch parts of the windowmanager scroll along with the text.
(xrefresh cures it).
The problem exist both in Solaris 8 and 9 for the last 6 months.
Using Xinerama on U60/Creator3dS2 and U60/XVR-500.
