If HP (or what used to be hp :-) posted such a notice on comp.sys.hp.hpux,

Actually, taking myself as a sample set of one (since I was specifically
mentioned in the article you are replying to, ahem :-) I found the post
interesting. Such an opportunity would be exactly the sort of thing to make
consider whether or not I should change jobs, even if I were not previously
considering it.

Unfortunately, what with economic times and all, I doubt sun would pay me
what I would require to change jobs right now.

(then again, if the sun hiring people ARE actually reading the durn
newsgroup instead of just treating it as a write-only medium, and they want
to set me straight about just how much they are willing to pay, they are
more than welcome to contact me ;-)
