paul@avon.douglasfamily.au.com (Paul Douglas) writes in comp.unix.solaris:
|I've installed Netscape 7 on an Ultra 5, Solaris 9. It works fine, and
|I've set it as the browser you get when clicking on the globe on the
|toolbar. However, if I click on an email attachment that's an html
|document, or on a URL in a mail, I still get Netscape 4.7. If I change my
|path so that the location of Netscape 7 comes before /usr/dt/bin and click
|on a mail attachment, I get nothing at all. Similarly, changing the link
|to Netscape 4.7 in /usr/dt/bin to one that points to /opt/SUNWns/netscape
|again results in nothing at all happening from within dtmail. It doesn't
|matter a lot, but I haven't had this problem before - I installed mozilla
|on a different machine, changed the path, and the mailer now opens mozilla.

What mail program are you using? dtmail? If so it should use the CDE
sdtwebclient to start the browser. See
