I have a U60 with solaris 9 MU3 installed. I have compiled XCDRoast 0.9.8a14 using gcc3.2.3 and am having extremely frustrating prolems with status windows.

XCDRoast starts fine but if I do a list all devices the status window freezes. Similarly when I do a burn, the status window frezes; the burn kicks off but never finishes.

I had a similar problem earlier where the status window would crash the application when using MU2 which I never found a cure for. This WAS perculiar to xinerama: with one moniter it was fine.

I've done a truss on the application and it just shows it "sleeping".

I have found ONE work around that may be a clue to someone more clued up than I am: when I display the application on another machine (Laptop running RH8) it runs fine... yep! Just fine!

My machine also has dual Elite3D cards of which I've deconfigured to one Elite3d then to just one Creator3D thinking it might be a bug with xinerama or elite3d drivers but I get the same problem in all scenarios.

Can anyone give me a hint on how to troubleshoot this?
