I'm relatively new to Sparc/Solaris.

The page above implies that the bundle can be used on Solaris 9
or Solaris 8 2/02.

The box I'm using has Solaris 8 7/01. Can I use the software in
the compilation above, or do I need to "update" my version of
Solaris? (it's a sparc box)

I've been looking for how to upgrade to the latest version of
Solaris on this machine, but I can't find anything so far on Sun's
site about this unless it's just a matter of purchasing Solaris all
over again. It's a dual-cpu machine so I don't think it qualifies
for the 'free' license.

Tips appreciated..
