hi
my company runs Sun Sparc 8.0 i guess and suddenly i have a problem
with my quota
values.
it shows a 1MB usage on a mounted file system when i don't even hava a
single file
on that file system except my home folder.
also when i spoke to my admin, who ran a ls -lR | grep 'username' for
me on that entire file system, he too couldn't find anything.
so he decided to increase my quota by the amount i lost
now though i start filling my files in and then
i type quota -v ,
the output is

Disk quotas for "username" (uid "uid"):
Filesystem usage quota limit timeleft files quota limit
timeleft
/"fs" 1040 7000 7200 0 0 0

i really am baffled and would like to know the cause.
kindly help me
thanks
abi
