When you pick the Customise" option when installing, the
packages that aren't marked with a [!] can be safely excluded
from the list of stuff to install.

SUn have split up R* daemons and R* clients, so it's possible
to install /bin/telnet without installing /usr/sbin/in.telnetd.
Good idea, if you ask me!
