Look's like the problem is closer to home. Here is part of the bounce
message from the test message I sent:

The original message was received at Sun, 26 Oct 2003 08:22:48 -0500

from [199.246.2.158]

554 5.0.0 MX list for gangwarily.ca. points back to
rusty.gangwarily.ca
554 5.3.5 Local configuration error

I don't really understand this. *Inside* my network, rusty *is* the
MX. But so what? sendmail should be forwarding the email per the
aliases file. This is the same setup I have on ssi.stantive.com and it
works fine. The only differance I can see is the actual MX spec in
DNS:

mark@tess mark $ nslookup
Note: nslookup is deprecated and may be removed from future releases.
Consider using the `dig' or `host' programs instead. Run nslookup
with
the `-sil[ent]' option to prevent this message from appearing.
