Hi all,
I have a general question about drivers in Solaris. I installed three
Fiber channel adapters (Emulex LP9002L) in a V880 and then I installed
the operating system.
After that I upgraded the firmware and installed the latest drivers.
Now, when I boot the machine everything looks good:

NOTICE:
Emulex LightPulse FC SCSI/IP 5.02b
NOTICE: lpfc0: Firmware Rev 3.91A3 (C2D3.91A3)
NOTICE: lpfc0: WWPN:10:00:00:00:c9:35:d1:f9
WWNN:20:00:00:00:c9:35:d1:f9 DID 0x1
NOTICE: lpfc1: Firmware Rev 3.91A3 (C2D3.91A3)
NOTICE: lpfc1: WWPN:10:00:00:00:c9:35:d3:09
WWNN:20:00:00:00:c9:35:d3:09 DID 0x1
NOTICE: lpfc2: Firmware Rev 3.91A3 (C2D3.91A3)
NOTICE: lpfc2: WWPN:10:00:00:00:c9:35:d3:12
WWNN:20:00:00:00:c9:35:d3:12 DID 0x1

In the /dev directory I see:
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 30 Nov 12 15:00 lpfc ->
../devices/pseudo/clone@0:lpfc

Now, my problem is that I have to reference the specific card but I
don't have the device files, why don't I have /dev/lpfc0 /dev/lpfc1
/dev/lpfc2 ?

I'm triyng to configure a TSM server using a tape library and I have
to assign a specific fiber channel card to a specific drive
(drive01>/dev/lpfc0 ¦¦ drive02>lpfc1/....), how can I do this if I
have just one device file (/dev/lpfc) ?

Thank you very much in advance,
Robertini
