Hello,
I have been trying to set up S9 PXE boot with incomplete success.
Where do you find the bootenv.rc file? Under the client root
directory on the boot server I find it in boot/solaris/bootenv.rc.
Is that where it is supposed to be? If that is the case, I don't
see why there would be a conflict between different clients, as
each client has its own root directory on the boot server.
So obviously we are doing something different here. My problem is
the client would boot, but it gets stuck running the /etc/rc.d/*
scripts because the devices for some reasons are not configured
when it get to that point. I am not sure what I am missing, but
can anyone point me in the right direction?
I create the client root directory by doing a full install on
the client, and them use dump to transfer the root partition
from the client to the server.
